Several media outlets including TMZ reported on the 3rd (local time) that Bowie, who won three Olympic medals as a member of the US national team, was found dead at his home in Florida, USA on the 2nd. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.

Bowie’s agency said, “It’s a miserable feeling. He lost a client and dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion. It was a torch that shined too bright. We pray with Bowie’s family and friends.”

Bowie, who participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as the US track and field team, announced the birth of a star by winning a gold medal in the 400m relay, a silver medal in the 100m, and a bronze medal in the 200m. The following year, he also won the 100m gold medal at the 2017 IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) World Championships held in London, England.
