The NC Dinos won 7-3 against the LG Twins in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on 3 March. Home runs by Kwon Hee-dong and Seo Ho-chul in the fourth inning proved to be the difference. With the win, NC moved into sole possession of fourth place, dropping Doosan to fifth.
NC took the lead in the first inning. Jason Martin’s two-run double put runners on first and second. Starter Eric Peddie allowed the tying run to score, but a big fourth inning put the game out of reach. Kwon Hee-dong hit a solo homer, Son As-seob added an RBI single and Seo Ho-cheol hit a three-run shot to drive in the winning run.
Pedi picked up his ninth win of the season with five innings of two-run ball, while Song Myung-ki (one run in ⅔ innings), Kim Young-kyu (⅔ innings), Ryu Jin-wook (1⅓ innings) and Lim Jung-ho (1⅓ innings) split the remaining four innings.스포츠토토
After the game, Kang praised the pitchers for holding the opposition to three runs in nine innings, saying, “The pitchers did their job well, from Pedi in the first inning to Lim Jung-ho in the last inning, and set the stage for the victory.”
