Shin Yu-bin, who withdrew from the 2021 World Championships for the first time due to a stress fracture injury on her wrist, returned after two surgeries and rehabilitation to challenge for the World Championships again after two years.

Shin Yu-bin will compete in all three events, singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Lim Jong-hun also defeated Robert Gardos (Austria) 4-1 (11-4 8-11 11-7 11-5) in the men’s singles first round (round of 128).
