Just before the end, a teammate’s free kick hits the crossbar, and Oh Hyun-gyu dives into the box as if he’s been waiting for it, firing a right-footed volley.

It was Oh’s first ‘multi-goal’ game of the season, and his first since reaching Europe. Celtic thrashed Aberdeen 5-0.

Jeon Jeon-hee and Xin Yubin won the silver medal in the women’s doubles final at the World Championships for the first time in 36 years after beating the world number one team from China.

They performed well against China’s Wang Yidi and Chen Meng, but lost the gold medal with a set score of 0-3.

With two silver and one bronze at the World Championships, the Korean team has won more than three medals for the first time in 20 years.

Lotte took the lead with a sacrifice hit by Ko Seung-min.

A series of defensive errors kept Kiwoom in the game. Trailing 2-5 in the eighth inning, the ‘big inning’ came.

With the bases loaded after a sacrifice fly, Lim Ji-yeol hit a grand slam over the centre field fence.

The shot travelled 125 metres and was Lim’s third home run of the season. Kiwoom came back to win 7-5, breaking their four-game losing streak.
