KT Wiz infielder Park Min-seok (23) started as the 9th batter shortstop against the Doosan Bears in the ‘2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League’ held at Suwon kt Wiz Park on the 19th.
Park Min-seok, who started the 2023 season as a foster player, was immediately registered in the first team after switching to an official player on the 19th and made his first start in his debut.먹튀검증
Before the game, kt coach Lee Kang-cheol said of Park Min-seok, “Park Min-seok is a good defender. He has served in the military and has been rehabilitated. I’m going to try to see him. I think I will do it,” he said, announcing the background for the selection.
Park Min-seok played his first game after being discharged from the military with high expectations. He struck out in all three of his previous at-bats, but produced his first hit in his last at-bat. He hit a 142 km/h four-seam fastball from reliever Kim Ho-jun and scored a heavy hit.
On defense, he made one mistake. In the beginning of the 6th inning, he missed Yang Seok-hwan’s assault ball perfectly from 2nd out and 1st base and missed it. Other than that, he made the pitchers’ shoulders lighter by handling the ball that came to him stably.
After the game, Park Min-seok said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been in the first team, but I was more happy than nervous. I entered with a positive mind from the first bat. I think I had a very happy day until my first hit in my debut.”

There were also some funny scenes. Son Min-seok (19), who played as the runner-up at the end of the 5th inning, took over as second baseman at the beginning of the 6th inning, completing the keystone combination of (Park) Min-seok and (Son) Min-seok. The two were born in 2000 and 2004, respectively, and are promising players who will be responsible for the future kt infield.
The two completed a double play in the top of the 7th inning. He caught Jeon Min-jae’s grounder at first base and treated it as a double hit in the shortstop, second baseman, and first baseman direction, adding strength to relief pitcher Lee Seon-woo’s good pitch.
Park Min-seok said, “In the Futures League, (playing matches) never overlapped, but (breathing) seems to fit well. I ask for your support.”
This season, kt has set the main task of finding a new face for Ya Su-jin. Can the duo of Minseok and Minseok establish themselves as a kt keystone duo in the future?
