‘Hermann KKKKKK’ Yankees beat Dodgers for second straight day

The New York Yankees beat the Los Angeles Dodgers for the second straight day to extend their winning streak to two games.

The Yankees won 4-1 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 5 May.

The Yankees started Glavier Torres, Anthony Rizzo, Giancarlo Stanton, Willie Calhoun, DJ LeMahieu, Jake Bauers, Isaiah Keiner, Palepa, Kyle Higashioka, and Anthony Volpe.

The Dodgers batted Mookie Betts-Freddie Freeman-Will Smith-Max Muncy-J.D. Martinez-David Peralta-Miguel Vargas-Cris Taylor-James Outman.

The score remained 0-0 until the sixth inning. It was the Yankees who broke the deadlock first. In the top of the seventh, back-to-back singles by Bowers and Kainer-Palepa put runners on second and third with no outs, and Higashioka’s infield single scored the first run.스포츠토토

The Dodgers then tied the game with two outs in the bottom of the seventh on Martinez’s solo shot to left. The Yankees regained the lead in the top of the eighth when Rizzo walked, Stanton doubled to left-centre to put runners on second and third, and Cabrera grounded out to second to make it 2-1. The Yankees drove in a run in the ninth on Wolf’s two-run homer to left.

Yankees starter Domingo Hermann pitched 6⅔ innings of four-hit ball (one homer) with six strikeouts and one walk to earn the win. Wolff was the only player on the team with a multi-hit game, including a home run.

Dodgers starter Bobby Miller pitched well with six innings of one-hit ball, two walks and seven strikeouts, but didn’t get much help from his bats.
