I would like to sincerely apologise to the fans who supported the Daegu KOGAS basketball team.
I have done my best as the head coach of Daegu KOGAS Basketball Team for the past two years, but as KOGAS notified me of the termination of my contract on 1 June, I will step down without completing the contract period.
As Daegu Basketball has started again, I sincerely hope that it will become a prestigious team, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude as a coach and as a basketball person to all those who actively took over the E-Land Basketball Team under difficult circumstances for the rebirth and revival of Daegu Basketball and the development of professional basketball.
For the past 16 years, I have been leading the team as head coach, sharing the ups and downs with the players and doing my best in every moment, and while not winning a championship remains a regret in my heart, I have been more rewarded by watching the players grow and seeing them come together as a team and build a cohesive organisation.
