A dramatic equaliser sees Colombia through to the Round of 16 on top.
Colombia’s Under-20 football team drew 1-1 with Senegal in the third match of Group C of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023 at the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata in La Plata, Argentina, at 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday. But in a dramatic moment, Colombia equalised. In the 50th minute, Cortes equalised with a chip shot. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Colombia finishing first and Senegal fourth.
